How Will You Get To Base Camp?
Here are Joe's directions:

Exit I-10 at Wild Horse Pass to go to the town of
Maricopa.

Continue south of Maricopa 2 miles to Ak Chin Casino; go 2
miles south of the casino to Papago where you turn right (west).

Go 5
miles west on Papago until you curve left (south) on to Warren.

Go about
1 mile south on Warren until you reach Val Vista where you turn right
(west).

Go west on Val Vista through the wash and past the canal to the
first street on your left—Deer Trail.

Go south on Deer Trail to Quail
Run. Go right (west) on Quail Run to the entrance to Base Camp.
All the
streets are marked.
Set up your camp within the perimeter of the
bunkers. For those who want to enter an
address into a mapping program of their own, here is the cross streets
reference: N Deer Trl & W Quail Run Rd, Maricopa, AZ 85239
