campers or travel trailers to camp out. Of course, you “hardcore types”
are welcome to pitch a tent and snuggle up in your sleeping bag. Bring
your own food, beverages, drinking water, and firewood."

For those considering camping out, the weather is
usually great, and the sky is clear and full of stars. Joe's property is
level and not rocky - ideal for tenting or for travel trailers, tent
trailers, or RV's.

available, and two flush toilets on site.

For
those who need a little more comfort, There are some small motels in
nearby Maricopa, there is the luxurious
Harrah's Ak-Chin Casino, and there are other hotels and motels of
all descriptions and price ranges in nearby Phoenix and Casa Grande.
When considering whether to camp at Base Camp or stay
in a motel or hotel please remember that you may have been drinking by
the time you want to drive to your hotel, and the roads are dark and
rural. There is also always a strong law enforcement presence in the
area with the nearby casino and they have zero tolerance for DUI. |
